Heerlijk avondje met lekkere gerechten, maar soms mistten wij wel de balans in de gerechtjes. Kaasplankje was prima. Service is goed, ontspannen en leuk. En dat is weer wel een sterk punt bij dit restaurant. Het is zeker geen slecht restaurant en kunnen dit bij iedereen aanbevelen.

De restaurantweek heeft ons naar Riverside gebracht en we zijn er blij om. Het eten was heerlijk, met aandacht gemaakt en opgediend. De stoelen zitten prettig en tafels staan mooi opgesteld zodat het gezellig druk is maae niet op elkaar hoeft te zitten.

De bediening was fijn! Niet alleen vakkundig maar ook leuk, gezellig en met oog voor alle klanten! Je kon merken dat ze plezier in hun vak hadden!

Verrassingsmenu was heerlijk met bijzondere smaken en combinaties. Het personeel was attent en had een fijn gevoel voor humor. De sfeer was ontspannen en de inrichting van het restaurant is leuk. Zeker voor herhaling vatbaar.

Restaurant The Riverside is located on a historic site in Maarssen. In 2021, the restaurant has undergone a complete metamorphosis. For example, it has been given a contemporary modern design where you can enjoy yourself in a relaxed atmosphere. The kitchen, led by chef Tom Vermeulen, has also been given a metamorphosis. The menu changes four times a year and is all about surprise. Perfectly composed flavor explosions where every bite should be a surprise. In short, a wonderful place for a nice lunch or dinner.
