Gisteravond heerlijk gegeten bij dit restaurant!
Vriendelijke bediening, je wordt begroet in het Italiaans.
Erg lekker eten, wij hebben het verrassingsmenu gehad.
Leuke locatie, aan de haven.
Als enige opmerking zou ik zeggen dat salade van zeevruchten gevolgd door vissoep wel erg veel zeevruchten zijn.
Verder niets dan lof!Een aanrader wij komen graag terug, vooral de pasta was perfect!
Voor de verjaardag van mijn man gingen wij met onze 5 kinderen met aanhang lunchen in Scheveningen. We kozen voor Italiaans omdat wij 5 jaar in Milaan hebben gewoond. Villani ligt fantastisch met uitzicht op de jachthaven. Door het slechte weer konden wij helaas niet buiten zitten maar het uitzicht was er niet minde...

Villani ligt fantastisch met uitzicht op de jachthaven. Door het slechte weer konden wij helaas niet buiten zitten maar het uitzicht was er niet minder om. We hebben allemaal heerlijk gegeten maar waren wel letterlijk de enige gasten die middag en dat doet wel wat met de sfeer. Wat mij dan extra verbaasd heeft - omdat het dus super rustig was - is dat we totaal niet die typische Italiaanse gastvrijheid hebben gevoeld. Ik had zowel mondeling als schriftelijk aangegeven dat mijn man jarig was, maar daar heeft Villani niets mee gedaan. Ook was er geen brood met olie/ balsamico op tafel óf het aanbod van een Limoncello na. Prima restaurant maar er mag iets meer (Italiaanse) liefde en passie in de service.
Eten goed , smaak heerlijk, jammer dat ze niet uitleggen wat het verrassing menu was. Ik kreeg risotto met champignons daar ben ik allergisch voor. Ook kregen een koffie van de zaak, maar mijn cappuccino was koud de melk was niet goed warm gemaakt. Maar ondanks alles gaan zeker terug om een keer van de kaart te eten.
