Heerlijke lunch gehad met verrassende smaken.
In 1 woord voortreffelijk
Heerlijk eten, ook het groentemenu was super.
Wijnen waren redelijk.
Bediening vriendelijk en efficient. Miste wat aan hartelijkheid.
We gingen voor het "Restaurant Week / 4 gangen-menu". Opvallende starter van Burrata met een sinaasappelgelei en gekonfijte zeste, groene hartige crèmetjes en kletskop. Hartige en zoete elementen om te beginnen. Da's lef van de chef!
De andere gerechten waren eveneens lekker, ribeye dun gesneden, parelhoen in padde...
We gingen voor het "Restaurant Week / 4 gangen-menu". Opvallende starter van Burrata met een sinaasappelgelei en gekonfijte zeste, groene hartige crèmetjes en kletskop. Hartige en zoete elementen om te beginnen. Da's lef van de chef!
De andere gerechten waren eveneens lekker, ribeye dun gesneden, parelhoen in paddenstoelensaus (perfecte cuisson) en een mangoijs.
De wijnen waren bijzonder lekker. De rosé mousseux van Pinot Noir uit Luxemburg en de Cava Celler Kripta bezitten kracht en finesse en smaken uitstekend bij diverse gerechten. Ben sowieso een voorstander van meer mousserende wijnen bij gerechten, ja zelfs bij de biefstuk (bijv. Bollinger).
De gangen kwamen allemaal met wat vertraging ter tafel. Ook vonden we de sfeer binnen (bistroachtig) niet geheel aansluiten bij de "Fine dining"-gerechten.
Maar goed, het eten is goed en de wijnen zijn zeer goed en betaalbaar (en dat lokt wijnliefhebbers aan en laat ze terugkomen).
Warm en hartelijk ontvangst. Heerlijke wijnen met een perfecte toelichting. Het eten was verrassend en ongelooflijk lekker! De opmaak van de borden leken wel kleine schilderijtjes!
Kortom fantastisch en voor herhaling vatbaar;aanrader!
