We gingen pas laat eten maar dat maakte niet uit. Personeel was heel vriendelijk en attent. Het eten was ook erg lekker, een aanrader!

The real surprise was the dirty restaurant. There seemed to have been a party there (who knows how many days ago) and the floor was still dirty from that. There were food pieces on the floor as well. And in the ladies’ toilet there wasn’t soap to wash the hands and the trash bin with paper towels was full and with trash spread around it. Given that the restaurant is part of a 4-star hotel, we expected a different quality. It’s a pity because it looks like the investors put a lot of money into this hotel.
We were sat at a nice table by the window and greeted by a friendly staff. We arrived at 18:30 and the place was not busy. It took around 1 hour 40min for our main dish to arrive. I saw people arriving after us eat and leave. The wait staff was very polite and apologetic but we couldn’t understand what was going on in the kitchen. What we ordered tasted nice but seemed quite expensive. Is this hotel pricing? Thus it didn’t feel like we were getting a special deal with the dinerbon. Luckily we had a free babysitter for the evening otherwise the extra time spent would’ve really cost us. With many other restaurant choices in the city with more reliable and appropriate kitchen service, we won’t be dining at I Dok again.
