Heerlijk eten en fijne service, zeker een aanrader!
Op een vrijdagavond hadden wij hier gereserveerd voor het 5 gangen signaturen menu. We vonden het restaurant er erg mooi uitzien, modern chique.
We begonnen met een amuse (breekbrood met mosterdboter, gegrilde peen, hummus en zoete aardappelcake) en aten hierna de volgende gerechten:
- gang 1: Hollandse sla met...
Op een vrijdagavond hadden wij hier gereserveerd voor het 5 gangen signaturen menu. We vonden het restaurant er erg mooi uitzien, modern chique.
We begonnen met een amuse (breekbrood met mosterdboter, gegrilde peen, hummus en zoete aardappelcake) en aten hierna de volgende gerechten:
- gang 1: Hollandse sla met rode mul en rouille
- Gang 2: rettich met haricots verts en rode miso
- Gang 3: steenschol, snijbonen, pinda en kokos
- Gang 4: kokotxa, eendenlever, limabonen en acaciahoning
- Gang 5: popcorn, vanille en macadamia
Originele bij elkaar gekozen ingrediënten die samen zorgden voor heerlijke smaken! We vonden alles heel lekker, maar gang 4 het lekkerst!
We kozen ook voor een bijpassend wijnarrangement, dit was erg lekker.
De gastvrouw Patricia was erg vriendelijk en deed haar werk met plezier! Elk seizoen verandert het menu, dus wij komen hier graag nog eens langs als er nieuwe gerechten op de kaart staan.
Houd je van fine dining, originaliteit en een moderne ambiance? Kom hier dan zeker eens eten!
Gerechten waren te veel van het zelfde, een stukje vis met een bodempje groente of bonen en een sausje erbij. weinig verassende smaken of combinaties, vooral zout. Het hoofdgerecht was drie stukken te droog varkensvlees. Het dessert was popcornijs met een kippenvelletje. Het ijs was gesmolten, de popcorn taai en de combi met kippenvel was niet lekker. Van de 7-gangen waren er 3 geslaagd. De borden/kommen en wijze van garnering was bij sommige gerechten niet echt geslaagd. Vooral de uitgesmeerde kaas over een een snijplankje met twee hoopjes vijgenpuree.
Er werd alleen water aangeboden voor de niet-wijn drinkers en er was geen sommelier of wijnadvies. Er leek niet echt verbinding te zijn tussen de bediening en het eten/de chef, en dat maakte de beleving al met al wat minder.
Gastvrij ontvangen en heerlijke lunch met bijpassende wijnen. Top!
