Voor valentijnsdag bij Gym & Gin gereserveerd. Een gezellig restaurant versierd met tientallen hartenballonnen. Als traktatie hadden we een 5gangenmenu plus aperitief. Het bedienend personeel dat hun benen uit hun lijf liep, was vriendelijk en serveerde kundig de drank en de gerechten uit. Het eten was smaakvol maar net niet bib gourmand waardig; het verdiende hier en daar nog wel wat meer aandacht. Helaas door de drukte liep het wachten tussen de gerechten op met als hoogtepunt de wachttijd na het hoofdgerecht. Het uitserveren stokte overduidelijk en er leek niet alleen voorj ons maar ook voor de andere gasten praktisch geen gang uit de keuken te komen. Het bedienend personeel liep er wat verloren bij. Overigens verdiende de kleding van de dames ook een make-over. Kortre jurkjes van slechte kwaliteit stof; 1 dame liep met een volledig losse zoom rond.
Na 3x gevraagd te hebben waar ons dessert bleef, zijn wij na bijna een uur wachten zonder nagerecht opgestapt. Met verontschuldigingen werden we gecompenseerd in de rekening. Aan het bedienend personeel lag het niet maar in de keuken was een bezoek van Gordon Ramsey wel welkom geweest.
Top all in vijfgangen menu gehad
Heerlijk gegeten en fantastische wijnen.
Jammer dat we niet voor 1 persoon een Bobarrangement konden krijgen.
