Uitermate prima etentje gehad, niet in het minst door het heerlijke eten, maar vooral ook door gastvrouw Lia, die van de hele avond een feestje wist te maken.
I can't remember how I first heard about Restaurant HFSLG (Hoefslag). Perhaps it was a friend who said I should go eat there if I got the chance, or I came across it online somehow. In any case, the name stuck in my mind. I'm glad it did because I got an opportunity to eat there recently and I enjoyed it very much.

In any case, the name stuck in my mind. I'm glad it did because I got an opportunity to eat there recently and I enjoyed it very much.
We were welcomed by a cordial maître d who suggested we have a drink in their lovely bar area as we were quite early. I should mention that it had snowed all that day, so it all looked a bit Christmas-like, quite magical really.
Later we were taken to our table and left the menu choice in the hands of the chef, a sort of chef's surprise. He/they did a wonderful job of cooking up a kaleidoscope of flavours that offered up a series of surprises course after course.
The staff were all friendly, competent and knowledgeable.
As to the question, would you recommend it? Without hesitation. Would you go back again? Circumstances permitting, absolutely.

We kwamen door vertraging vliegtuig pas heel laat binnen ( 21:20) maar toch heerlijk gegeten en ze hadden alle tijd. We hadden leuke gesprekken ondanks dat restaurant officieel om 22:00 sluit. Het werd ongeveer 23:00. Heerlijke gerechten en bijpassende wijnen. AAnrader en we komen zeker terug.
