WE HADDEN GERESERVEERD VOOR 18.00 UUR, WE KREGEN DE INDRUK DAT DE BEDIENING RESP. DE KEUKEN ONS SYNCHROON WILDE LATEN LOPEN MET ZELFS DE GASTEN DIE OM 20.00 UUR GEBOEKT HADDEN. VOOR EEN 3-GANGEN DINERTJE VERWACHT JE TOCH EERDER DAN 21.15 UUR WEER BUITEN TE ZIJN

Vanmiddag geluncht bij Strandlodge Winterswijk. Heerlijk gegeten, vooraf lekker brood met wat boter, olijfolie en zout. De bediening was helaas ongeinteresseerd, niet attent en niet gastvrij. Daarmee ontbrak te kers op de slagroom. Dat laatste was echt jammer en vormde een schril contrast met de fantastische locatie en het heerlijke eten.

Heerlijk gegeten in een mooie ambiance op een wel heel aparte locatie. Het personeel was super vriendelijk. Wij hebben genoten.

Not by the sea, but still at the beach. Overlooking a unique natural pool, located in the forest, you will find the paradise of the Achterhoek! LEV. by Mike stands for love of beautiful dishes that are all the size of a middle course. They source products from the region and change with the season. This of course includes delicious beers, more than 15 open wines (all wines can be ordered by the glass!) and Achterhoek hospitality.
At LEV. by Mike you will enjoy genuine attention, a relaxed atmosphere and surprising dishes. The restaurant is open year-round from Wednesday to Sunday. In the summer you can enjoy delicious lunch dishes and a refreshing drink with your feet in the sand at the beach bar, in combination with your visit to the Strandbad Winterswijk.
Mike: “Cooking for me is so much more than stirring in a pan: each product has its own technique, each taste its own consequence. The kitchen team regularly puts their heads together. If a dish is not quite what they expected, they make it again. But what ultimately matters is the total experience: the moment wine and food combinations are right and the place is churning with conviviality: then you create memories."
