The entire western Netherlands, with the exception of the dunes, consists of polder land. Many tourists come specially to the Netherlands to see this flat country. Stolwijk is located in the middle of this beautiful polder landscape.

Chef Frank Streefland grew up in the Stolwijk area and therefore knows the region well. He has experience in various luxury restaurants and in 2009 won the Golden Ladle for the Groene Hart region.
