Ik had een vier gangen verrassingsmenu gekozen en nadat we op onze stoelen zaten kregen we nog de keuze om dit menu iets uit te breiden. We besloten om beiden het bob-wijn arrangement te nemen, met bijpassende wijnen bij ieder gang, maar dan slechts halve glazen.
We werden meteen daarna verrast met drie fijne amuses. Het voorgerecht, een kalfstartaar met tonijn, zorgde mede door de geweldige dressing voor een smaakexplosie in de mond. De tussengang, een ode aan groentes, viel ook enorm in de smaak. Spitskool heeft nog niet eerder zo goed gesmaakt en de fleur de courgette zorgde voor een fijne krokante bite. Het hoofdgerecht was een perfect gegaarde kabeljauw met wederom een saus om van te watertanden. De bijbehorende groenten zorgden voor een fijne afwisseling in de structuur.
Het dessert was zeer verrassend en voor mij, ik ben normaal niet zo te pleasen met de laatste gang, echt een hoogtepunt. De bloedsinaasappelcompote zorgde voor de goede smaakbalans en het rozenijs was alsof je een fantastische hap parfum nam, maar dan op een hele goede en frisse wijze. De friandises bij de koffie maakten de avond af op een heerlijke manier waarbij we ons zeer verwend hebben gevoeld. Zeker voor herhaling vatbaar!

De amuses waren zeer smaakvol.
Zeer smaakvol diner met een zeer uitgebreide wijnkaart (wel erg dure wijnen, wijnarrangement 9,50 per glas)
Leuk personeel, jammer dat t zo stil was op de donderdagavond.
Ook fijn om na zo'n diner te overnachten in t hotel.
